What is a 360° Photo?
Why should I have 360° Photos?
Google recommends that businesses have at least 3 (three) 360 degree photos on your Google Business Profile. Google will also give a higher rank to these photos over conventional photos. This can increase your page rank for Google searches and business listings on Google. The 360 photos have the added benefit of showing up in Google maps too.
What is a Virtual Tour?
A virtual tour is a series of 360° photos put together with special sofware and hosted online as part of your current website. These are quite common with real estate listings, but businesses are getting into them as well. Virtual tours can have interactable items, videos, e-commerce and even virtual zoom like meetings inside them.
Here are some examples.
Can you create a tour on my Google Business Profile?
Tours can be exported to your Google Business Profile and be part of the Google Earth and/or Street View project. Interactive elements are not supported, but you can add your logo to the bottom of the photo. See examples below or follow these links (may not work in all borwsers.)
